Boligbygg

Boligbygg is a municipal enterprise owning and managing council housing on behalf of Oslo municipality. Boligbygg manages, operates, develops and maintains more than 10,000 residences, inhabited by approximately 25,000 people. Boligbygg has close to 100 staff.

Customer status

Council houses that are changing owners, are not valued for a while or have undergone considerable renovation, are valued by valuation companies which have been allocated the residences as valuation objects. Boligbygg administrates these valuations, gather information, inquire housing benefits, keeps the tenant informed and initiates new tenancy agreements using a rent assessment application.

Customer vision

Boligbygg’s objective is to ensure housing for those groups that Oslo municipality at any given time finds eligible for council housing.

NSA role and contribution

NSA has developed the application used by Boligbygg and the valutation companies to follow the processing of tenancy assessment cases. The application provides better workflow for the executive officers. NSA has also provided application operations.

Technology

Oracle database, Oracle middleware, Linux as OS for servers. The application has been developed in Java using framework by Spring, Hibernate and Struts.
